BE AN ANGEL TONIGHT

When  darkness takes over
When the noises in your head grow so loud
The night sky hears your scream
Chasing your dreams

You are,  not your broken wings
Stars,  rain, and lightning
Come close tonight
As they break open the sunshine

Magic,  they say,
Alas! What else is left to thee
While your soul breathes
The one last time, be an angel tonight

The Lost Garden

Come not to my garden
Where flowers are left to wither
Where birds hesitate to fall in love
Come not to my garden
The naked land carries no perfume of new-mown grass
No sight of children playing
Not even the shadows of my grave
Come to the kingdom of heaven
The deep blue sky wide open
A beam of sunlight piercing through the clouds
A whistling sound echoing in the empty silence
Come to the kingdom of heaven
To a world distinct from fantasy
With no life
With no death
Only a journey towards infinity

Time

Sometimes time is delusive
Sometimes time disturbs the space I need
To go beyond it
To go far away from it
Is unlikely
If only time could heal
If only time could save me for future
If only time liberates from the shadows of grieving past
The sunrise
The sunset
The soft sleek hair turning grey
Then with time I shall change
With time, everything will change
With time.

Stars Shine Down

Stars shine down gracefully
Pouring their sparkles of your dreams
Reach up to the sky, Count them all
They are not mere and they are not far

The Deep Blue Ocean

In the midst of deep blue ocean
Wind, waves, warmth
Curled me
Embraced me
My hands slipped away from you
I did not let go
I clasped your hands once again
It was not your fault
I cannot blame it on nature
No more school, no more friends, no more life

All wars, pain and death
I stood there watching them embrace and carry me
Just like an ocean
They wept
So did I
I thought I was going to come back alive
But I am now safe
I am in a better place
No more school, no more friends, no more life
All wars,  pain and death

The Man who held the Flute

I wandered alone in the vast muddy beach
A beautiful sound of music tend to reach
I waited to see who it was
A man of wisdom and enlightenment of some sort
Bewildered I looked of his sudden presence
Eyes so blue and innocent
His wooden bamboo flute held closer to his lips
He began playing the divine song of God
My heart dancing to his beats, called out his name
“Krishna...Krishna... Krishna”
